In 1840, the fish shop was all made of wood. Then it was replaced by a metal construction in 1880.

The neo-Normandy arrived in 1937, under the impetus of Fernand Moureaux, mayor at the time. And since 1991, it is registered on the annexed list of Historic Monuments. This has the effect of protecting the whole neighborhood from what and from the port.

After a fire in 2006, it was rebuilt identically and inaugurated in 2011.
