Hennequeville, a district of Trouville-sur-Mer, was once a small hamlet that was concentrated around its church. The two fishing villages merged to form Trouville-sur-Mer in 1847.
It's the greener, quieter, more secluded corner of Trouville-sur-Mer. There are a lot of places to stay, from campsites to gîtes and guesthouses.
Hennequeville, the rural district
With its parks, streams and paths under the trees, the area around Hennequeville is ideal for walks surrounded by greenery.
There are also beautiful villas and sumptuous Normandy manor houses.
It's a quiet place to enjoy a break, away from the hustle and bustle of the town. From campsites and houses looking out to sea, to gîtes and B&Bs in the countryside, the hamlet offers relaxed surroundings in which to find your temporary little pad.

Hennequeville is also at one end of Trouville-sur-Mer beach. It is a wild beach bordered by the cliffs of Les Roches Noires..
At the far east of the town, to the right of the Club Nautique, thelandscape is preserved and offers a peaceful setting away from the crowds. However, you should be aware that swimming is not supervised here.
The area also offers some niceviewpoints, after a little bit of a climb. These can be seen from the cliffs, on the Corniche road, or even higher still on the small country roads in Hennequeville.
