LES TOQUES DU TERROIR

The “Toqués du Terroir” is initially a story of friendship between Clarie, chef, and Chloé, a former journalist specializing in food. For twenty years, both have traveled the lands of France and Navarre in search of the best products from each region. And this common passion materialized rue des Bains, in Trouville-sur-Mer.

After a year and a half spent on the roads of Normandy meeting our producers and craftsmen, who are also obviously "Terroir Crazy", the two young women have set up this 100% local and 100% militant general food. Because isn't it essential today to consume better and to return to the origins?

In fact, for the past year, at 46 rue des Bains, you will only find the best traditional products from Normandy – beverages, vinegars, oysters, fish terrines, andouille de Vire or teurgoule – and others that are more original but just as Norman. : saffron, chorizo, pipi du Dragon, Pastis – and yes! - cosmetics or crafts!

But, make no mistake, at Les Toqués you can also eat on a daily basis: legumes, cheeses, butter, smoked fish, charcuterie, potatoes and leeks – mostly organic – cheerfully share the space of the shop, on two levels. After being rigorously selected.

What's more, be sure, you will always be greeted in a good mood by the two affable, passionate and perfectionist young women. Moreover, the regulars are not mistaken and sometimes meet there just to make him happy to have a chat. While the producers also, often invited, meet there to discover their work.

It is also the charm of this charming and elegant local grocery store to give back to the real Norman local products all the attention and the fame they deserve. So, Clarie and Chloé also advise and share, on a daily basis, a thousand carefully chosen anecdotes and revelations that whet your appetite. With the aim of making you even more crazy about the successes of our incomparable and irreplaceable Norman land, and to make you become the new "Tacks of the Norman Terroir".

Let's all be Crazy!
