The Roches Noires Ecological Estate is a unique place, located in Normandy in Villerville between Trouville-sur-Mer, Honfleur and Deauville, facing the sea.
We designed this place as an open space around gastronomy, well-being and culture to host seminars and events throughout the year.
The estate covers 4 hectares and includes a permaculture farm, a learning and training space, an educational kitchen, a sales area and a space for processing our produce.
THE PERMACULTURE ORGANIC FARM
The estate extends over 4 hectares above the famous Roches Noires cliffs on the Côte Fleurie road.
With its privileged location, facing the sea, Roches Noires is a unique place bathed in light, between land and sea, which lives to the rhythm of the tides and the seasons.
The permaculture market gardening space
Our organic vegetable and fruit growing area covers 2 hectares.
The estate includes two large greenhouses, a borehole for irrigation and five 5-meter gardens.
We produce more than 50 varieties of vegetables, fruits and aromatic plants throughout the year.
We work in permaculture, a cultivation method that requires no pesticides, fertilizers or other chemical inputs and thus preserves the soil and biodiversity.
We are certified Organic Agriculture by the Ecocert organization and all our vegetables and fruits are FR-Bio-01 certified.
The ecological garden
With its 200 fruit trees and its pond, the “garden” is more than just a fruit garden.
Some parts are left wild, some meadows are not mowed to develop greater biodiversity, guaranteeing a perfect balance to produce good fruits and vegetables.
Where can we find our fruits and vegetables?
Sale at the farm
Directly on the estate, you will find our natural or processed fruits and vegetables... but also local products from our partner producers: honey, jams, cider, apple juice...
Relay points
Find us at the Villerville market on Tuesdays and Saturdays from June to September. You can also find some of our produce at the Villerville grocery store, at La Fine Bouche in Blonville, and at the organic stores in Touques and Pont Lévêque.
Restaurants
You can enjoy our fruits and vegetables processed by the excellent chefs at Les Bains in Trouville, at the Le Bellevue hotel restaurant in Villerville, at Maison Marcel or at the Desmousseaux charcuterie in Saint-Gatien-des-Bois.
Finally, the Blonville school canteen offers certain products from our farm throughout the year.
