Garanse exhibition at Maison KalBot

After the success of the 2023 and 2024 editions, Garanse returns to Normandy for a new exhibition at Maison KalBot! Immerse yourself in his artistic universe and let yourself be captivated by his vibrant and inspiring paintings.

The exhibition will be held from May 29 to 31 at Maison KalBot. Admission is free.

A deep questioning of Life and… painting has imposed itself on her since 2016, like therapy! Totally self-taught, it was through hard work and experimentation that Garanse found his artistic touch as you can discover it today.

His practice of abstraction, intuitive or even impulsive, allows the projection of his emotions onto his support.

“It is a real dialogue with myself which is established between the Self who paints and the inner Self who dictates my painting, without however being able to truly control the flight which imposes itself on me, with obvious much stronger than my own will. Painting after painting, I discovered who Garanse really was, the one I had always been without ever recognizing it. »

Her creations always respond to a need to let her unconscious speak, without ever having a precise idea of ​​what she is going to paint when she lays down her first brushstroke. Garanse always paints quickly and wants to finish his painting in one go so that he can keep the emotion of the moment intact.

His very colorful paintings, sometimes explosive, sometimes dreamlike, are all invitations to travel into a rejuvenating imagination.

By discovering his oils, you will be able to indulge in daydreaming and discover how Garanse mixes words with his painting. Each work is in fact accompanied by a quote carefully chosen by the artist to lead those who wish to reflect on Life.
