SEASIDE ART AND HISTORY MUSEUM
The Villa Montebello, built in 1865 by the architect Jean-Louis Célinsky de Zaremba, has preserved and exhibited the museum's collections since 1972 (paintings, posters, lithographs, drawings, manuscripts, objects, clothing, etc.). They are oriented around two major themes, which are the birth of sea bathing and the development of vacationing on the Côte Fleurie, a source of inspiration for artists from the XNUMXth century to the present day.
Museum of seaside art and history, the collections are centered on the fine arts (paintings, drawings, prints) from the romantic discoverers to the artists of the 20th century and contain a number of works by renowned poster designers such as the famous Trouvillais from adoption, Raymond Savignac.
