The Trouville-sur-Mer Tourist and Attractiveness Office is taking another step in its responsible approach: we are officially committing to the Green Destinations labeling process!
Why this project?
Sustainable and responsible tourism is at the heart of our priorities. We want to promote our region while preserving its natural resources and involving all local stakeholders. Green Destinations label is an international recognition that allows for the evaluation and improvement of tourism practices in terms of sustainability.
What is the Green Destinations label?

Green Destinations is a label that measures the environmental, social and economic impact of a tourist destination. It is based on a demanding, cross-cutting framework that requires the participation of all local stakeholders: local authorities, city services, tourist offices, economic actors and residents.
What's the point ?
The objective is twofold:
- Structuring and improving our practices for a more environmentally friendly and responsible tourism.
- Strengthen cooperation between all stakeholders in the destinationby creating synergies and sharing best practices.
A collaborative project
We are supported in this process by:
- the services of the Communauté de Communes Cœur Côte Fleurie,
- the City's sustainable development department,
- and the Federation of Tourist Offices of Normandy, which guides us throughout the process.
A committed team

In this context, we are pleased to welcome since January Rose ParoisSustainable development project manager as part of her Master's degree Tourism – Tourism project and development of destinationsShe supports the existing team in managing and deploying the project within our services.
We are eager to move forward with this meaningful project for the future of our destination and to share our progress with you soon! 😃🌿
