Port of Trouville-sur-MerThe Sea Festival, a true institution since 1933, celebrates the sea and its fishermen. What was once a simple blessing has become a festive weekend filled with entertainment.
The exhibitors' village is set up opposite the town hall with a variety of stands: exhibition of historical photos, artistic creations around the sea and association stands such as the National Sea Rescue Society
(SNSM). At the same time, children can have fun with traditional wooden games.
Don't miss the famous mackerel rillette competition and boat decoration. And for added fun, a (stuffed) mackerel toss is organized! Then it's time for the ceremonies with mass, a parade, and absolution at sea in memory of the sailors.
Come along at the end of July or beginning of August, depending on the tides, for a festive and friendly weekend, to the rhythm of music and the sound of seagulls!
