THE FISHING VILLAGE

An unusual and unique visit to discover Trouville-sur-Mer as a fishing village. From the resort's Viking origins to the fisherman's profession, a guided tour filled with anecdotes takes walkers to the heart of the history of our fishing port.

Nature walk – “Discovering the countryside”

7 km walk, accompanied by Laetitia Legrix, on the heights of the city on the countryside side with some breathtaking views. 

  • Fridays, July 28, August 4 and 18, 1er September and October 27 from 14:30 p.m. to 17:30 p.m.

Nature walk – “Discovering the beach and the sea”

To find out all about the beach and its secrets, set off on an adventure with Bruno Outters, a professional diver from Trouville, a real local character and a fervent defender of our fauna and flora! Embark on a 3-hour educational and ecological trip to explore the Trouville coast!  

The 5 km hike, from the promenade jetty to the Roches Noires cliff is invigorating and full of surprises, helping to raise our awareness about the richness and fragility of marine ecosystems.

TOURS OF THE SAINT-JEAN QUARTER – Historic district of the town 

From Le Quernet, you will walk along the narrow streets leading from the creek to the Saint-Jean chapel; you will cross the former property of the Estimauville family and arrive near Trouville's oldest cemetery. You return to your starting point by following the Callenville stream.

Enigmatik Experience (ghost tour)

Erick Fearson, a specialist in ghosts, invites you to discover the hidden face of the Queen of Beaches… Take a fun and mysterious guided tour, filled with experiences relating to the places visited.

For an hour and a half, participants will discover enigmatic legends, unusual beliefs and troubling real-life stories about ghosts, UFOs, tragedies, star-crossed lovers and curses.

Maritime heritage trail

Enjoy a walk to discover the seaside trail in Trouville-sur-Mer!

Since 2016 the municipality of Trouville-sur-Mer has been looking at ways to enhance its heritage and maritime activity. As both a fishing port and a seaside resort, the town truly stands out.

Managed by the town's cultural department and the museum, a maritime heritage trail has been set up in the town, inviting visitors to discover the maritime history of Trouville-sur-Mer!
