On April 18th and 19th, the Queen of Beaches once again saw its streets and walls burst with color and creativity. For two days, artists, curious onlookers, families, and enthusiasts gathered to celebrate urban art in Trouville-sur-Mer, in an atmosphere that was as joyful as it was creative!
Driven by talented artists and a large audience, this 4th edition confirmed that street art had indeed found its place on our sidewalks, our walls and in the hearts of Trouville residents and visitors alike.
Two days of overflowing creativity

The program for this action-packed weekend includes: spray-painting workshops, introduction to tag lettering, guided tours to discover works in the city, a guided tour "From the artists' perspective", a treasure hunt around street art, live painting... and wonderful encounters with artists whose universes are as rich as they are varied.
A true mix of styles, shapes, colors, and worlds, enough to captivate all eyes and reveal the richness of this art form accessible to everyone. Young and old (and even the very old!) joined in the fun, roaming the city, spray can or chalk in hand, giving free rein to their imagination.
Artists who have elevated the Queen of the beaches
Inkoj and its reimagined cement tiles
A major new feature of this edition: the Rouen-based artist InkOj, whose real name is Nicolas Soulabail, has taken over the courtyard of the Media Library with an ephemeral creation conceived especially for the occasion. A visual artist and interior architect by training, he has been exploring urban space since 2020 by revisiting cement tile patterns, which he reproduces directly on the sidewalks using stencils and spray paint.

For WESA, he imagined an original visual inspired by Trouville-sur-Mer: it includes the seagulls from the Tourist Office logo, designed by Savignac, the anchor from the City logo, the four cardinal points, as well as a flock of birds around a sailor's beret with a red pompom, a strong and recognizable symbol.
On Sunday, armed with his stencils and spray cans, the artist roamed the city, scattering his creations throughout the public spaces. Now it's up to you to find them!
Passionate about cement tiles, InkOj has created a work true to his artistic vision: a floor that extends beyond building lobbies into the street, as if the patterns were escaping to be displayed in the open air. This is a way of revealing a heritage that is often hidden in Trouville, creating a subtle link between private and public space, and offering everyone the chance to encounter art at a street corner.

Alongside her, her artistic partner Aurélia offered, in front of the swimming pool, a stencil spray painting workshop which was particularly appreciated by the participants.

Poulain and his tribute to the fishermen
A regular at the Street Art Weekend, the woman from Trouville Foal (Josépha Poulain, her real name) laid down her brushes under the shelter of the Beach Club for a work measuring 4 meters by 2: the idealized portrait of a fisherman at work.
A tribute to these sea workers, whose courage and tenacity the artist admires. I wanted to pay tribute to these fishermen; their livelihood is impacted by many things. I admire them; I see them going out in all kinds of weather. " she confided while she painted. Her canvas, accompanied by her faithful dog Odin, will remain for a few days under the shelter before joining the Coursive, where she teaches painting.

Piotre returns for a second work
Following the success of his mural created in 2025 on the port (now visible at the Maison des Jeunes), the Caen-based artist Piotre returned with a new creation, this time focused on the beach and the seaside atmosphere of Trouville.
« It's like a comic book panel, it follows a sequence and it will go next to the first one at the Youth Center. " explained the artist, delighted to continue the dialogue begun last year. For someone who now exhibits in numerous galleries in Asia, the United States and Europe, Trouville-sur-Mer represents a precious return to his roots, and above all a wonderful opportunity to exchange with the public, the fishermen, the passers-by.

A third work by Émilie Arnoux unveiled

Faithful to the event for the past three years, the artist from Trouville Emilie Arnoux has unveiled his third work, which has been added to the exterior wall of the swimming pool, on the side of the Jetée parking lot. A creation in the same vein as the two previous ones, blending pop, beach culture and surf art, true to the artist's sunny and joyful universe.
Émile Bernet and his words that bring a smile
The Trouville street artist and poet Émile Bernet was participating in the event for the first time. Known for his small canvases scattered around the city, carrying messages that comfort or make people smile, he offered a workshop in front of the Tourist Office and, at the end of the guided tour on Sunday morning, invited participants to create a collaborative work.
Together, they chose the phrase " To live rather than to exist ", now visible on a wall on rue d'Orléans, like an invitation to savor the moment. "I hope it will touch those who pass by. In any case, I'm not going to sign it, because it's our work, all of ours," the artist confided.

Dreamer Animation and initiation to tag

As in 2025, Jean-Marc from Dreamer Animation was present in the annex of the Tourist Office to introduce young and old to graffiti lettering. A free workshop open to all which was fully booked throughout the weekend.
The surprise guest: Jean-Charles de Castelbajac
While passing through Trouville-sur-Mer, the stylist and art collector Jean-Charles de Castelbajac honored us with an unexpected visit. Even more, he joined in the fun by picking up the chalk to participate in the collaborative workA suspended moment, both simple and precious, which will remain one of the defining memories of this edition.

The public at the heart of the event
The Street Art Weekend is so popular because it invites everyone to take part in this explosion of color. From the treasure hunt to the "Artists' Side" guided tour, including the "Draw Me a Fish" chalk artwork and the collaborative piece by Émile Bernet, many of you joined in the fun.

Your messages, your smiles, your interactions with the artists, and your warm feedback deeply touched us. It is this collective energy that brings the event to life and gives street art its true meaning: an art of encounter, of sharing, of the city.
