As part of the European Heritage Days 2025, discover a little-known yet significant chapter of local history.

Meet at 10:30 a.m. from the Tourist Office (32 Boulevard Fernand Moureaux). Free admission upon reservation at the Tourist Office or via the online ticket office starting September 1st.

In June 1940, Trouville-sur-Mer, "queen of beaches," saw its smile fade under the yoke of German occupation. Four years of a harsh life, marked by deprivation and fear, but also resistance and the tenacious hope of regained freedom.

Throughout the tour, discover the daily lives of the inhabitants during this period: their changing habits, military operations such as Seelowe, the construction of the Atlantic Wall transforming the coastline, and the acts of courage of those who resisted.

You will follow the city's path to the Liberation of August 24, 1944 and its reconstruction, retracing the still visible traces of this era.

A visit to remember and pay tribute to those who lived through these difficult times so that their history lives on.
