The European Heritage Days are back for their 41st edition, offering a unique opportunity to discover the history and hidden treasures of our heritage.

> SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 21, 2024

- Behind the scenes look at the Notre-Dame-des-Victoires church conservation project
From 10 a.m. to 17 p.m. Companions from the Lefevre company, which specializes in the restoration of historic buildings, will host a free stone cutting workshop in the parking lot of the Hôtel de Ville.
You will discover how they are currently restoring the bell tower and its crowning, the first phase of this vast project, winner of the Heritage Lottery, under the aegis of the Heritage Foundation.
An exhibition of photos and the rooster restored by the Gallis company and a presentation by the project manager will complete this demonstration of exceptional know-how.

- Visit of the Saint-Jean Quarter *
Immerse yourself in the history of the Saint-Jean district, one of the city's historic districts. The visit, organized by “The companions of the Saint-Jean chapel”, will begin at 10:30 a.m. from the Tourist Office.

- Guided tour “Trouville-sur-Mer under the Occupation” *
On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the liberation, discover Trouville-sur-Mer under occupation. The visit will begin at 15 p.m., with departure from the Tourist Office.

> SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 22, 2024

- “Artists Side” guided tour *
At 10:30 a.m., set off to discover the artists who came to Trouville-sur-Mer for inspiration, from the 19th century to the present day. Departure will be from the Town Hall.

- Archive exhibition "The quay over time" at the town hall of Trouville-sur-Mer. 
From 14 p.m. to 17 p.m., the Trouville-sur-Mer town hall is offering an exhibition on the evolution of the quay through various iconographic media. - Free visit to the Villa Montebello Museum
From 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 14 p.m. to 17:30 p.m. Come and discover the exhibition “Augustin Rouart in his world, with Julie Manet, Berthe Morisot, Maurice Denis…” or the permanent collections of the Villa Montebello Museum. 64 rue Général Leclerc — 14 360 Trouville-sur-Mer

- Visit to the gardens of the Château d’Aguesseau

- Glass Canvas Workshops
Take part in the European Heritage Days on the theme of "Maritime Heritage" by visiting the Toiles de Verre Workshops. The open days will take place on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 September. Book your 1-hour slot between 30pm and 13pm. The price is 30 euros, free for children under 18. During the workshop visit, you will discover the works on display and the different stained glass techniques, as well as the stages of making this wonderful art. The visit includes a presentation followed by a practical session where you can create your own small stained glass window. An experience to share in small groups.
