Exposition : Rosa Torres – Paysages méditerranéens

Tuesday July 08 at 10:00 p.m.
Musée Villa Montebello 64 Rue du Général Leclerc 14360 TROUVILLE-SUR-MER
As part of the cultural partnership between the Villa Montebello Museum and the Fundación Antonio Pérez, discover the unique world of Rosa Torres, a key figure in the contemporary Spanish art scene.

Originally from Valencia, Rosa Torres has been developing an instantly recognizable style since the 70s: clean shapes, intense light, bold colors, and pop vibes. With an approach that's both synthetic and sensory, she captures the essence of Mediterranean landscapes to better convey their warmth, clarity, and power.

Without artifice or superfluity, his works—often untitled—immerse you in imagined or lived places, bathed in sunlight, between sky and sea. An invitation to contemplation.

With more than 250 exhibitions to her name and works present in the greatest international collections (Reina Sofía, Albertina, IVAM, etc.), Rosa Torres also represented Spain at the Venice Biennale in 1982.

A bright, vibrant and resolutely free exhibition.
