Exposition au Musée Villa Montebello – Olivier Mériel : Ports du Calvados

Saturday October 18
Musée Villa Montebello 64 Rue du Général Leclerc 14360 TROUVILLE-SUR-MER
Renowned Norman photographer Olivier Mériel casts his unique eye on the ports of Calvados. For over forty years, he has traveled Normandy, capturing its landscapes in black and white with a view camera, using a timeless, analog approach.

With Ports du Calvados, he explores seven emblematic ports in the department—from Isigny-sur-Mer to Honfleur, via Trouville-sur-Mer. Neighboring places, but with distinct identities, which the artist reveals in a subtle play of light and shadow.

A contemplative, sensitive exhibition deeply rooted in the memory of the Normandy shores.
