Exposition aquariophile par l'Aquaclub de Trouville-sur-Mer

Sunday May 18 at 10:00 a.m.
Salle de la plage Boulevard de la Cahotte 14360 TROUVILLE-SUR-MER
The Trouville-sur-Mer Aquaclub invites you to discover the fascinating world of aquariums at its annual exhibition, held on May 17 and 18 in the beach room. A unique opportunity to learn more about this passion that combines aesthetics, science, and the preservation of biodiversity.

Through a presentation of aquariums populated with fish of various shapes and colors, accompanied by explanatory panels, the exhibition will immerse you in the world of viviparous and oviparous fish.

Topics covered:

– Selection: Discover how certain species, like the guppy, are selected to meet international competition standards. An immersion into the laws of genetics as applied to aquariums.

– Natural forms: presentation of species maintained in their wild forms, with monitoring by the France Vivipares Association, as well as the astonishing killies, oviparous fish with bright colors.

– Protecting biodiversity: The Aquaclub actively participates in the conservation of endangered species, such as those included in the “Northern Platyfish Protect” program. This approach is comparable to that implemented for the protection of emblematic species such as the giant panda.

– Reproduction: Learn about the different ways fish reproduce – oviparous, viviparous, bubble nests – and also admire exotic shrimps with shimmering colors.

An event not to be missed for the curious, the passionate and the lovers of aquatic nature.
