On the program for this outdoor screening: The Postman (Il Postino), an Italian masterpiece directed by Michael Radford (1994). Poetic and moving, this film tells the story of the unexpected friendship between a postman and the poet Pablo Neruda, set in the sunny setting of a small Mediterranean village. An ode to poetry, the sea... and simplicity.
