Wacky jobs, unusual objects, improbable places... This event is an ode to imagination and to all those who prefer to forge their own path off the beaten track.
Les Excentriques is a patchwork of texts and images celebrating the creators of dreams, the builders of utopias, the inventors of the useless – or of the essential in other words.
The words of Michel Dansel, Jacques Carelman, Erik Satie, Dominique Noguez, Alberto Manguel and Gaston de Pawlowski rub shoulders with the notes of the great Erik Satie, whose centenary of death we are celebrating this year.
At the piano, Monique Bouvet, former professor at the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse de Paris and choirmaster at the Paris Opera, offers a sensitive and mischievous interpretation of Satie's works.
An evening full of freedom, poetry and humor… on the fringes, of course!
