Since 2002, the Normandy Theatre & Reading Festival has invited writers, artists, and literature enthusiasts to gather every summer to celebrate the magical union between books and the stage. From July 19 to August 24, 2025, enjoy a month of rich and varied events to explore Normandy from a whole new perspective.

Organized by the PMVV Company the grain of sand, these Summer Meetings are a true crossroads of culture, where each year a new theme becomes the common thread of the festivities. A theme that inspires a bold and original program, creating bridges between the worlds of literature, theater, and Norman heritage.

A rich and diverse program

At the heart of the festival are a multitude of performances, reading walks, musical readings, literary brunches, as well as meetings with authors and artists, conferences, cultural and heritage escapades, creative workshops, and writing competitions. Exhibitions complete the experience, offering a total immersion in the fascinating world of words and theater.

Through some fifty venues spread across twenty municipalities in the region, the festival invites you to explore Normandy in a unique way. Events accessible to all, young and old, for a festive and friendly epic that will reveal Normandy as you've never seen it before!
