Trouville-sur-Mer beach is supervised in May on weekends and public holidays from 11am to 18pm, in June every day from 11am to 18pm, in July and August every day from 11am to 19pm, and in September on weekends from 11am to 18pm. The beach and swimming are supervised by qualified personnel.
A few guidelines:
- Respect bathing areas (it is forbidden to swim near the groynes at high tide or to walk on them at low tide)
- Pay attention to the flags that the lifeguard teams put in place:
– Green flag: bathing authorised and lifeguarded
– Orange flag: dangerous swimming, lifeguarded
– Red flag: bathing prohibited
– Windsock (offshore wind): danger
– Purple flag (pollution): bathing prohibited

- Do not bring valuables and do not leave anything unattended on the beach

About the municipal decree of April 3, 2014, picnics and camping are strictly prohibited on all the beaches of Trouville-sur-Mer.
Pet regulations
Our 4-legged friends are welcome in Trouville-sur-Mer, provided you respect some rules :
- It is forbidden to let your dog soil playgrounds and sandpits reserved for children
- Access to the beach is regulated: the beach is allowed for dogs all year round, before 10 a.m. and after 19 p.m. During these times, if dogs are off the leash, they must always remain under the control of their owners.
- Dogs on a leash are allowed on the main boardwalk, "Promenade Savignac"
It is possible to ride horses 2 hours before and 2 hours after low tide on wet sand only. A request must be made in advance to the lifeguard station at Trouville-sur-Mer beach.

- Shrimps (3 cm minimum)
- Currycombs (6,5 cm minimum)
- Crabs (14 cm minimum)
